Introducing Janice Feist to Eclipse Art Gallery
Janice's life-long fascination with colour, texture and light began in theatre productions, as set painter and lighting assistant. She moved to Muskoka in 1987. Surrounded by the inspiration of lush, rugged landscapes and lakes motivated her to fulfill her desire to paint.

The Royal Canadian Mint has asked ELLEN COWIE to create 2 coin designs of Canadian landscapes. Designs have to be done for May 3, 2013 for the 2014 "O Canada" Collection. 3 artists have been asked and 1 will be chosen. We will hear around May 18th. It takes 4 months for approval from Minister of Finance...long process but very exciting!!
Terrific news today! My Canadian landscape design for the $10 collector coin was chosen by the Royal Canadian Mint for their 2014 O' Canada Collectors Edition! It will be advertised publicly in November of this year! My second design will be filed away by the Mint in case they may use it in the future. Really and truly a great honour!
