Beaver Lodge - Linda Sorensen

Primarily self‐taught, Linda has been a professional artist for over 20 years. As a painter, her interest lies in wilderness landscapes, wildlife, and the heritage of the area in which she resides, the Algonquin Region. Linda paints both Plein‐Air in oils in all seasons and in the studio large vibrant iconic canvases in Acrylic. Linda has developed a body of work inspired by the Natural World and Algonquin Park exploring the flora and fauna of this vast diverse wilderness. Much of the painting process involves hands-on adventure in wilderness destinations often by boat and canoe and camping with on‐site painting sketches and photography to be used as reference material for larger studio paintings.
