Jeanette Obbink

Born in Holland in 1960, Jeanette discovered the passion to paint after leaving high school while working as a Delft Blue Pottery painter. Working with paint, brushes and colour felt natural. Jeanette obtained a B.A in Fine Art and Textiles in 1983. She has since worked as a teacher and graphic designer, but the passion to paint continued to grow. Jeanette's work focuses on land and waterscape. Having worked with watercolours, acrylics and even the computer as a painting tool, she now works primarily in oils.

“Jeanette’s work is a contradiction in terms – while creating a breathing space, her work leaves one breathless. Nothing can protect you from the vivid colours she uses to portray the spectacular beauty of the Creation.”
