Eleanor Lowden is fascinated by people. "My paintings would herald the day, and honour those simple moments that we all take for granted. Walking the dog, shopping, eating, holding hands, talking on the phone, texting. I love to watch crowds of people traveling in different directions, each with their own story and body language, lost in their own thoughts, being in close proximity to people and never connecting. Or perhaps connecting, and that I find equally fascinating and inspiring." These figures provide Eleanor with an endless source of inspiration. Her work is impressionistic, vibrant and loose "I paint with many layers of transparent acrylic, layering my colors so that they glow. I want the viewer to spend time contemplating both the painting process and the story that I am telling"Read More

Zoé Lefort is a French Canadian born in Quebec who spent her early childhood years growing up in Montreal. She later on moved to Oakville Ontario where she began hand-painting pottery. She continued this for many years and eventually began selling her pieces to several trendy stores in downtown Montreal before the age of 15.
Zoé attended Sheridan College for 2 years after high school and received her diploma for Travel & Tourism. She worked in this field for a few years but quickly realized that art was her true passion. She returned to Sheridan College where she studied painting, drawing, graphic design and animation for 4 years and obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Illustration.
Zoé primarily works with oil paints/pastels and has always been known for her rich & bold colours. This is consistent with every facet of her life, from her fashion sense to decorating her home. Zoé loves exploring different subjects and/or themes of nature and is very particular with what she chooses to paint.
Sara Jane Doberstein will be joining our artist roster in 2017. Sara Jane was born in 1976 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She has spent most of her life in Owen Sound, Ontario on beautiful Georgian Bay, and has been a full-time artist since 2000. Her interest in the arts began at an early age, when she developed a passion for capturing the American coastline during family trips to the Carolinas. She continues to visit the United States as often as possible, finding inspiration in the beauty of its coastal areas for her vivid paintings of seashells, sandpipers, and crabs.
Her work will be on display this summer season at Eclipse Art Gallery- Deerhurst Resort and Rosseau.
